This is a certificate issued by the Town Hall confirming that your property meets the legal and technical requirements to be inhabited. It is usually valid for 10 years.
This certificate allows you to contract utilities such as electricity and water.
It is also mandatory to provide it when selling the property.
Please note that if you carry out extensions or modifications to the property, you will need to obtain a new second occupancy licence.
